Jayam Ravi Boxer in Boologam
After playing kick boxer in M Kumaran, Son of Mahalakshmi, Jayam Ravi now plays a boxer in Boologam.
The film, being directed by Kalayana Krishnan, will feature Trisha in the lead opposite Ravi.
Says director Kalyana Krishnan, ‘I have named the film after a boxer who lived in North Madras. Ravi’s character is also named after him. The story is about the fight between two boxing schools that have been there for generations. Trisha plays a college girl.’
Highlight is that a giant set has been erected for the film at a cost of Rs. 1. 2 crore in Chennai. Says Director Kalyana Krishnan, “The set was erected on a 50-acre campus it has a gymnasium, a burial ground, homes and shops. Over 40 per cent of the film is done and work is progressing at a brisk pace.”
