Vaalu is an upcoming Tamil comedy film directed by debutante director Vijay Chander. The film will feature Silambarasan and Hansika Motwani in lead roles. Makers are planning to release Vaalu for this Diwali in 2012.

To be produced by S S Chakravarthy of Nic Arts, Shakthi handled the camera and S. Thaman joined Simbu after Osthe as composer. This movie brings together Silambarasan, Santhanam and Ganesh, the triumphant trio of Vaanam and Osthe, once again.

The shooting of firstlook teaser and photoshoot of the film was completed in Taramani on 5th May 2012. The director Vijay has planned to release the firstlook teaser shortly. The first schedule of this movie will start from June 6, 2012.
