The shortest night of the northern hemisphere is to echo music in different styles. Music is celebrated in several forms in order to refresh and cool the Indian summer which is at its peak and as well celebrate the end of a session at Alliance française of Pondicherry.
This music festival is an opportunity to practice French, to throw a song, to get young talents in the limelight, and to relish professional artists.
The music would be the core of the curriculum of our students who would present French songs learned during the course. Following this … the stage is open for your musical talents!
Each of them will unveil their song or present their musical piece at the Maison Colombani stage..

 

To end the day in style folk and fusion are not left out, several groups will play soothing melodies with rocking rhythms, two famous local bands – Emergence (fusion) and Janarthanan (Tamil folk music) – will make the public dance and jerk the brave from their seats.

 

Don’t miss the Photographs exhibit by Fabien Espinasse (20th to 31th of June), who will share with us musical atmospheres in France.
